Vigor is not alone in suffering the current issues with planning - we are aware of the huge amount of frustration that is being felt in small and medium wind across the market.
Our particular issues mostly lie around there being little or no objective approach to the standard small wind planning application. Wether it be application fees, EIA and screening requirements, noise issues - there seems to be no standard, no guidance and very little incentive to process.
I would urge all our partners to rapidly put pen to paper and write to your local MP. I would be personally very happy to help out in terms of supporting evidence and information to include in any such letter, but until there is a voice from people on the ground - very little is going to happen.
