Demand for Windcrofts grow!

Whilst the government has announced an impending review on larger scale solar PV developments and Feed-in Tariffs in general, with WindcroftingTM we continue to find enthusiasm among rural communities throughout the UK for small-scale wind partnerships.

As development starts on the UK’s first Windcroftstm in Scotland, we are enabling smaller scale landowners and farmers to really benefit from renewable power generation and the Feed-in Tariff incentive. Low environmental impact and community benefit has always been at the heart of the renewable energy projects which Vigor develops. Specifically, Windcroftingtm provides farmers and landowners with a low cost, minimal impact, long term benefit to themselves whilst helping to meet the country’s targets for renewable energy power generation. 

The small Proven Energy turbines used in a Windcrofttm quickly allay the concerns which people living in rural communities have about large-scale wind farms. We are already finding that one development often leads to another in nearby communities.
