I am very pleased to announce the commissioning of our 500kW peak site in Ipswich which went live this week. This is one of the largest solar PV site sites to be commissioned in the UK to-date under the feed-in tariff scheme and sits on the roof of the warehouse distribution centre of Debach Enterprises in Ipswich.
The site covers nearly 60,000ft2 and is expected to generate over 400,000 kWh per annum. The system was fully designed and developed by us here at Vigor and was installed by Going Solar Limited – funding was provided by a number of EIS funds managed by Downing Corporate Finance. We will put up full details of the site in due course – but I wanted to mark this exciting point in the blog. Very well done to Said and the team for creating this big system in a very uncertain environment.
